One Month

It is hard to believe that Molly Grace has been with us for one month already! We look at her every day and think how crazy it is that she is already here, and now an entire month has gone by!

She loves her playmat! She will lay on it and stare up and smile so big! I caught her laughing on 2.8.12 for the first time while she was looking up at the animals.

On Saturday, 2.4.12, Molly Grace got to meet her great grandparents. It was such a special moment and I am so thankful for my Uncle Steve for driving them up here to meet her!

She went for her first shopping trip at the Galleria. She did not like being in baby gap for some reason so I had to hold her!

Jared and Jessica Kime came to visit her!

We are taking Molly Grace to church for her dedication on Sunday. We are so blessed with such a great church that will pray for us and for her and will dedicate themselves to us to help us raise her to love the Lord. I will post pictures from Sunday next week!

Have a blessed weekend!

3 weeks

Molly Grace is 3 weeks old today! Here are some things that have happened in the last week:

-She had her 2 week check up on Wednesday and weighed 8 lbs 4 oz and is in the 50% in height and weight.
-She had to get her heel pricked again at this doctors visit, it was much easier for me this time because I knew how she was going to react to it.
-We discovered that she loves her swing, and when nothing else will work to calm her down, usually the swing will.
-She has been going through a growth spurt this past week and it has been rough, we are hoping it will be over soon!
-Katie and Alexa Burbage came to visit on Tuesday!
-Andrea Self came over twice to visit and bring us dinner.
-Her umbilical cord fell off on Sunday! (1.29.12)
-Granddaddy and Nana came for a weekend visit! It was much needed for them and for Mommy & Daddy! We had a mini photo session while they were here- pictures to follow after we get the birth announcements done! :)

2 weeks

Molly Grace is 2 weeks old today! Time has already flown by and she is growing up too fast already. We are still trying to get adjusted to this new life at home while enjoying every moment we have with this precious girl.

The first 2 weeks have been tiring but so worth it. We have had a few rough nights and some that have been blessed with a lot of sleep. We had her on a "schedule" at first, but she has decided she doesn't like it that much anymore.

Here are some things I do not want to forget about her at this stage:

-She is trying to hard already to hold her head up. ( I know it'll be a while, but she's trying!)
-She doesn't hate baths. She will lay there staring at us until we put water on her, then we can confidently say her lungs work just fine! After a few minutes she stops and it doesn't seem to bother her.
-She eats about every 3-4 hours.
-She loves her soothie pacifiers.
-This girl loves being rocked at night. (My favorite part of the night)
-We started using cloth diapers last night and they are awesome. We will be using them while we are at home.
-She has taken 3 naps in her crib.
-Molly Grace went for her first check-up to see Doctor Cortopassi and had great results! She was back at her birth weight at 8lbs exactly! She did not cry until she had to get her heal pricked.

Visitors we have had the past 2 weeks:
-Granddaddy, Nana & Aunt Ashley stayed with us from Friday-Monday after we got home from the hospital and we cannot thank them enough. It was such a blessing to have them here with us.
-Papa Rex and Grandmama Jeanne came over with Great Uncle Rich and Great Aunt Prudy on Monday, January 16.
-Heather Kirk and Hadley came over on Thursday, January 19 and brought us a delicious dinner. -Aunt Mallory came over on Saturday, January 21 for a visit.
-Walt & Todd drove all the way from Nashville and came over on Saturday, January 21 and stayed for a few hours to meet Molly Grace and brought her some sweet gifts!
-Great Aunt Jane and Great Uncle Dewayne came over on Saturday night and brought us a delicious meal and held Molly Grace while Win and I enjoyed eating it.
-Brett, Lanie & Sadie Walters came over on Monday, January 23 and brought us a delicious dinner!

We are so thankful for everyone coming to see Molly Grace and helping make this time at home special. We cannot thank our church and friends enough for bringing meals to us twice a week. It is a huge blessing!

I'll leave you with some pictures! Have a blessed week!

Molly Grace

This is a little late, but we have been very busy!

Molly Grace was born on January 10, 2012 at 1:17 pm. She weighed 8lbs and was 21 inches long! I was in labor for almost 24 hours and ended up with a C-section. We are so in love with our precious baby!

Getting ready to go into the operating room for the C-section

Daddy all geared up!

Meeting my daughter for the first time!

First family photo!

God has truly blessed us with such a wonderful baby girl.

Almost time...

We are 3 days away from Miss Molly Grace's due date and are so excited! We are more than ready to hold our baby girl. We went to the dr yesterday and it seems that she is very content with staying where she is. We will go back one week from today, if she doesn't come on her own. We should have an induction date by the time we leave that appointment next week.

I am feeling ready! I am more and more uncomfortable as the days go by. My hands swell so bad and at night they hurt. Sleep is hit or miss. I usually sleep really well one night and the next not so much. We have been washing her clothes and just completely finished her room!

Here are pictures of her room:

Now that the room is ready, all we need is her to grace us with her presence!

Have a blessed week!

21 days...

We now have 21 days until Molly Grace's due date! We have been so busy getting thigs done around the house to prepare for her arrival. Her nursery is almost completely finished, swing put together, pack and play put together, and we are working on getting some clothes washed. My bag is mostly packed for the hospital and we are getting the car seat bases installed this weekend! We are both so ready to hold our baby girl!

I have 1 1/2 days of work left and then I'll be home! I have been blessed with this job, but I am definitely ready to be at home to relax a little before Molly Grace gets here.

Here is a picture of me at 35 weeks...

In other news, I have to take the time to brag on my husband. Win has officially passed the CPA exam!!! It has been a long process, but his hard work paid off! I am so very proud of him!

Have a blessed weekend!

Thankful

We have so much to be thankful for. We have had 6 out of 7 baby showers so far and have been so blessed by each of them. We feel so grateful to have these people in our lives that care enough about us to give of their time and money to help us prepare for our Molly Grace's arrival!

We had a shower hosted by some of my favorite girls from Vaughn Park Church of Christ in Montgomery.

We had a wonderful shower hosted by some ladies from Win's parents church.

On Thanksgiving day the Mainor side of Win's family gave us a baby shower.

The Sunday after Thanksgiving the Anderson side of Win's family had a lunch and shower for us.

I had a doctor's appointment on Tuesday and am measuring right on track in my 34th week, the nurse had a hard time getting Molly Grace's heartbeat because she was moving so much. It was beating at 141 bpm. We are so ready to meet our sweet girl in less than 6 weeks! I am definitely losing my energy again and have had back pains and my feet stay swollen all the time. I know that it'll all be worth it when we see our Molly Grace's face! At least we only have 5 1/2 weeks left!

31 weeks down...9 to go!

I cannot believe that we only have 9 short weeks until we get to meet our Molly Grace! To say we are excited is an understatement! We have been so busy and for me, that has been great. It definitely makes this waiting thing go a lot faster.

Last weekend, I had my first baby shower at Homewood. The girls did a great job hosting and it was a wonderful shower! Here are a few pictures.

This past weekend, we were so busy. I had a very busy day at work on Friday, then headed straight to Win's work for our baby shower there, and then we went to Secret Church that night and got home at 1:15 am. I am so proud of myself for making it through the whole thing because it was such a blessing. God is good and I am SO thankful that we have the freedom to worship our God whenever and wherever we want to. David Platt put a lot into perspective and we were so blessed to be able to hear what he had to say.

This weekend will definitely be more laid back. We have another shower in Montgomery and I cannot wait to see some of my favorite girls that I miss so much!

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

Week 29

Today I took a sick day. I have a bad sinus infection and didn't sleep well at all last night. Thanks to my Dr. I have a Z pack and should be getting over this very soon.

Molly Grace is continuing to grow and move more and more. I can feel her shifting positions and can feel when her arms or legs are moving/kicking me. Braxton Hicks contractions have started, I am in no pain from them they are just uncomfortable.

I am enjoying the temporary job that I have been blessed with. I have 8 weeks to go and then hopefully a few weeks before our baby girl makes her arrival! We are busy getting her room finished before all the holidays start, when it is "complete" I will post some pictures.

Here is my 29 week picture:

Third Trimester

I am officially in the third trimester! I cannot believe that I am 2/3 of the way there. It really has gone by fast. With this new job, football season, showers, and holidays left, I know it will be time to meet Molly Grace before we know it!

We are so excited and are praying daily for a healthy baby girl and safe delivery. We cannot wait to see what she will look like. Will she have hair? What color will it be? Who will she look more like? How much will she weigh? All of those questions are talked about all the time around here. Less than 3 months to go!

Here is my most updated picture at 27 weeks and 2 days.

God is good!

I don't have a whole lot to post today so I'll just make this one a list form and will have a longer post next week!

-Win passed the Audit portion of the CPA exam and has 2 more parts to take! Not only did he pass, but he passed by a lot! (sorry just wanted to brag on him for a minute)

-Molly Grace moves/kicks more and more each day it seems like and I love it!

-We are headed to the beach tonight and will be there until Sunday. It is our last getaway before Molly Grace arrives and we are so excited!

-I have 4 baby showers on the calendar. :)

-I just got the news that I will be doing a long-term substiute position at Calera Middle School in their library and couldn't be more excited. I will start on Monday and will be done December 20th just in time to rest before baby girl gets here!

God is so good! All the time. Even when we think that we have done it all, God shows us that He is in control!

War Eagle!

Now that football season has begun we are staying very busy! We went to the first 2 home games and had a lot of fun despite the heat. Both games were hot & my feet were so swollen by the end of them.

After the first game, Win & I drove to Atlanta for the night to get away. It was much needed and we had such a low key night and went shopping the next day.

here is my 23 week picture

At 23 weeks I am:
-Definitely have pregnancy insomnia already. I am awake a LOT during the night. My thoughts are of course of Molly Grace and what she will look like, what she'll weigh, imagining her fingers and toes, etc.
-eating more. My appetite has picked up again.
-Growing. I am finally feeling like I am pregnant.
-Feeling Molly Grace moving all the time. I even feel her moving positions sometimes now. She likes to ball up in one area a lot and stay. Win loves feeling her kick and now we can see her kick sometimes if we watch my stomach.

Only 4 months to go!

I'll leave you with one last picture...This guy has no idea what's coming...

21 Weeks

We are very busy getting ready for Molly Grace to be here in a short 19 weeks! We are working hard in her room and are very excited how it is turning out.

I am feeling her move ALL the time now. She loves to move at night when I am trying to go to sleep so that I will stay awake just to keep feeling her! We have our next dr. appointment next week for the hearbeat and measurement.

Here is my 21 week picture taken on 8.28

Halfway

I am 20 weeks today! In some ways this pregnancy has gone by so fast, but then again it is creeping by. We are so ready to meet our sweet baby girl, come on January! I have been feeling pretty good and trying to exercise when I feel like it.

This picture was taken at 19 weeks and 5 days.

When we found out that we were having a girl, we wanted to do something special for Win's work. We made gender revealing cupcakes for Molly Grace.

We baked the cupcakes then poked a hole in the center of them for pink icing. Then we iced them in pink and blue so they had to eat them to find out what we were having. It was so fun doing this! (and his work seemed to like them as he only came back with 4!)

I have been feeling Molly Grace kick for about a week, as each week is getting more and more evident that it is really her kicking me! Win was able to feel her kicking last night!

It's a GIRL!!

I knew it all along, Win was determined it was a boy. Win and I, along with his parents and mine went to St. Vincent hospital for our ultrasound on Tuesday. The ultrasound tech was taking all the normal measurements and then turned the screen to me. She started showing us our baby's face, arms, heartbeat (which had dropped to 140), and feet. Then she said well, baby is not positioned where it needs to be and started poking my stomach and said, "roll over baby", and there it goes, rolling over! When she could finally tell she circled the area and said, "there's no doubt about it, those are definitely girl parts!"

After we heard that, Win and I have not stopped smiling! We are so in love with our precious baby girl already! We had a hard time thinking of names at first but when we said her name, we knew it was right. Her name is "Molly Grace" Anderson. I have always loved double names so our little girl will be called Molly Grace. Molly is a family name on Win's side. Molly was the name of Win's great grandmother and we are excited to use it for our sweet girl!

Our Internet has been out for a few days so as soon as it starts working I will post her pictures and more!

Have a blessed day!

4 days...

The countdown has definitely been going for us. We are counting down the days until we get to see our precious baby in another ultrasound and to find out if this baby is a boy or a girl! I absolutely cannot wait to know what God is blessing us with. We both want a boy first, but I feel like this baby is a girl all the way! Having that mindset, we do not prefer one over the other anymore. We just want a happy, healthy baby!

We will go on Tuesday at 11 am for the ultrasound and my parents and Win's parents will be joining us. I wanted them to be able to enjoy something special before the baby comes and since it is both of their first grandchild, I wanted them to be in there with us for this ultrasound. We are so excited and cannot wait to announce if we'll see a lot of pink or blue!

Here is my 17 week picture from last week:

Last week I drove down to Prattville to see some sweet friends of mine and their precious babies! It was so good to catch up and just hang out with them for the afternoon. I miss and love those girls so much and loved seeing the sweet babies and how big all of them have gotten!

Hope everyone has had a great week and has a wonderful weekend!

God is so good!
